
During large-scale events and conferences, the location has a high demand for edge computing power and edge services.
However, this type of demand peak is high, the required time is short, and the basic environmental protection capability is limited, which traditional edge clouds cannot cover.
On highways and in remote areas, in addition to limited basic environmental protection capabilities, it is also difficult to ensure a good network environment.
Customers using physical servers or private clouds also find it difficult to ensure the reliability of infrastructure services, and lack sufficient service capabilities to support the complex and diverse requirements required for such scenarios.
The data center based on micro modules is already very mature. The rich array of micro module data center products in the industry can meet the data center needs of various scenarios. For example, Tencent's Mini T-Block, in the shape of a container, can be quickly deployed by moving cargo trucks to the required location as needed.
In addition, the current mobile network is very developed and has a wide coverage. In areas where limited networks cannot cover, network solutions such as SDWAN can be used to provide network coverage.
And Tencent Cloud DHI solution products, CDZ and CDC, is deployed based on Mini T-Block. During various large-scale events and conferences, the Mini T-Block can be moved to nearby locations, powered on, connected to the internet, and simply configured to start service. The characteristics of the same technological architecture as Tencent Cloud Public Cloud also allow the cloud services in Tencent Cloud Center's availability zone to be deployed locally according to the specific situation of the competition, meeting the cloud service needs of the competition.
In remote areas, CDC can also be deployed by combining Mini T-Block with SDWAN solutions to meet edge cloud service needs in scenarios such as highways and remote areas.
Mobility: It is easy to move, comes with UPS and refrigeration, and has low environmental requirements.
Quick deployment: Based on Tencent Cloud's standard technology architecture, service deployment can be completed within one week after power on and internet connection.
Rich services: Various IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services in the public cloud center's availability zone can be provided in this mobile edge cloud to meet the service needs of different types of large-scale events.
High cost-effectiveness: No need for various participants of large-scale events to independently support service construction and maintenance, Tencent Cloud provides centralized supply, reducing resource waste. After the large-scale event, mobile edge cloud related devices can be moved back to Tencent Central Cloud to continue providing services, maximizing the reduction of resource idle costs.
