11.3活动 | 北京论坛2024：“星球健康坐标系统”国际专家报告会

北京时间2024年11月3日晚间8点，“北京论坛2024：星球健康”专家会议即将召开，会上将首发报告北京大学“星球健康坐标系统”工程（Planetary Health Axis System - PHAS）。该系统由北京大学全球健康发展研究院于2023年启动，首次尝试构建一个全球数字系统，以追踪和评估人类健康、动物健康、生态健康和社会健康在全球所有地区和国家针对行星边界的生态足迹，使各国能够更好应对人类发展的机会和挑战。此次大会将报告PHAS的理论基础、研究框架以及系统演示，听取全球专家小组的反馈意见，从而进一步对系统进行修正和完善，并争取在2025年初能够全球上线发布。

“北京论坛2024：星球健康”讨论会将云集全球健康领域的顶尖科学家和包括《科学》、《柳叶刀》主编在内的专家参会，国内外顶尖科研院所的数十位专家学者联合参加了该系统的开发工作。同时我们也期待和欢迎，未来有更多关心星球健康的机构和个人能够加入到建设该项全球公共工程的行动中来，为助力星球健康和人类文明的可持续发展共同努力。

PKU Planetary Health Axis System (PHAS)

We are pleased to announce the upcoming “Beijing Forum 2024: PKU Global Expert Panel Roundtable on Planetary Health Axis System”, Beijing time 8pm on November 3, 2024 at Peking University.

The dynamic relationship between humanity and the Earth has become increasingly apparent. It is crucial for humans to strike a balance between their developmental needs and the planet limits. In response, Peking University has recently initiated a core project "Planetary Health Axis System" (PHAS), aimed at constructing a global digital system to track and assess the world footprints of human health, animal health, and ecological health against the planetary boundaries across all regions and countries. This initiative is designed as a global public platform rather than a singular center of excellence, allowing world experts and leaders to systematically address opportunities and challenges for human civilization.

At the Beijing Forum 2024 - PKU Global Expert Panel Roundtable, the Peking University research team will present the PHAS’ underlying theories, framework, methodology, and a system demo for preview, followed with the Expert Panel Roundtable discussions and feedbacks for further development of the PHAS before its global launching in early 2025.
